The best thing you can do is adding a content-disposition header. This should cause a download file dialog to appear.

I tried changing the associated .pdf program to Adobe and it did not change..Edge still opens the .pdf. I am accessing the particular .pdf via a link to an external company, and cannot right click on the document before it is displayed. What do I try next?
